When worries take up the dayPerhaps you replay conversations long after they end. You may put off a meeting, a journey or a decision because of what could go wrong. In our Nijmegen practice, we look at how worry affects your daily life and what you would like to be able to do differently.Make the pattern clearerWe use a recent example rather than asking you to explain everything at once. What happened, what did you expect and what did you do next? We also ask what already helps. You can say when a subject feels too much to discuss.Map recurring thoughts and the situations around them.Notice habits such as repeated checking or seeking reassurance.Choose a manageable step towards something you have been avoiding.Agree before tryingAny exercise is discussed with you first. We explain its purpose and agree on a pace that fits. Sessions last 50 minutes, with space to review what happened between visits. At the intake we discuss your needs, the proposed approach and whether this practice is suitable. There is no requirement to arrive with a diagnosis or a finished explanation.
